Senator John Enoh, Nigeria’s Minister of Sports Development, has called upon the Super Eagles to strive for victory at the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Ivory Coast next year. This appeal comes after the team’s impressive 6-0 victory over Sao Tome and Principe, concluding their qualifying campaign. Striker Victor Osimhen scored a hat-trick, with Ademola Lookman, Taiwo Awoniyi, and Samuel Chukwueze also finding the net. Senator Enoh commended the team for their outstanding performance and expressed the nation’s desire to bring home the AFCON trophy.
